JAWA. Since 1929.
František Janeček founded the name that became part of motorcycle history. The story has had many chapters, and we are writing the next one in Týnec nad Sázavou.

1929
František Janeček founds JAWA. The name combines Janeček and Wanderer; the early model is the JAWA 500 OHV.
1932
Production of the accessible JAWA 175 Villiers begins.
1946
The Pérák, developed during wartime, enters production.
1950s
The Kývačka models carry JAWA to more than 120 countries.
1980s
JAWA 350 type 638 Twin Sport adds a name later revisited by the 730 Twin.
1997
Successor company JAWA Moto is founded in Týnec nad Sázavou.
2004–2016
The Czech-developed JAWA 650 Classic and later 660 Sportard and Vintage continue the larger-capacity line.
2026
We introduce the JAWA 730 Twin, with Czech design, frame production and final assembly.
